Dear Vladimir Yuryevich! On behalf of our managerial staff we express thanks for qualitative and timely performance of activities on replacement and commissioning of DC drive control systems for a two-high reversing mill stand roller table in hot rolling mill area of long product rolling plant No.1 (JSC «OEMK», the town of Stariy Oskol) within the period of September-October, 2018. It is worth noting that the works were executed on a tight schedule (141 hours) during a planned shutdown of the plant for overhaul repair. Within such a short time the following was to be done: to dismantle the four old control systems, install and adjust the four new ones and arrange their full interaction with the existing automation systems of the plant. This activity was one of the basic tasks on the equipment repair schedule for long product rolling plant No.1 and normal operation of mill No. 700 depended a lot on the results of this work to be done. High professionalism of your managers and engineers ensuring efficient commissioning of new control systems with total capacity of 1600kW allowed to provide a smooth and failure-free operation of supplied equipment after its integration. Cooperation with CJSC «ASC» has proved that this company possesses the extensive technical capabilities and rich intellectual potential needed to handle the challenging and non-standard tasks. In the course of fulfillment of this project the dedicated electronic excitation unit surpassing its foreign counterparts in terms of its technical features was specially designed for JSC «OEMK» and successfully implemented. The activities on replacement of DC drive control systems for a two-high reversing mill stand area performed in 2016 and 2018 were conducive to enhancing performance reliability of long product rolling plant No.1 and reducing substantial risks in case of electrical equipment failures. Looking forward to further cooperation.
