Upgrading of main drive for two-high reversing stand 1000 of mill 700.
The commissioning works were completed in section rolling shop No.1. The main drive for two-high reversing stand 1000 of mill 700 and automatic control system – both basic and standby sets – were upgraded.
Automatic speed control systems were developed, produced and put into operation in June 2016 by «ASC» company in the course of upgrading of electric equipment for main drive. The commissioning activities that were executed within the period from 01.11.2022 to 10.11.2022 were due to replacement of DC motor of top roll mill stand drive by a new electric motor by “Siemens”: 3500 kW, 60 / 150 rpm, 997 V, 3865 / 10630 A. CJSC «ASC» specialists were invited to perform commissioning works by LLC «Siemens», Moscow («High-powered drives» department) as a subcontracting organization and they lived up to the challenge.
