22.02.2016 Revamping of automated process control system for shaft lime kilns in reagent preparation department of ore processing plant, Uchalinsky GOK JSC.
ASC specialists have completed design documentation and estimates for automated process control system, instrumentation and controls and power equipment for limestone burning section at Uchalinsky GOK JSC (Uchaly, Republic of Bashkortostan). The works were carried out in two stages: basic engineering; detailed design documentation and application software development. Text and graphic documents for sections Automation, Power equipment and Gas supply as well as mechanical drawings for installation of additional devices/sensors were prepared. Design documentation was approved by industrial safety expert committee and registered by Rostekhnadzor.
Limestone burning section consists of two identical process lines. The aim of executed works:
- stabilizing performance values of process equipment and limestone burning process parameters;
- energy saving and cost cutting;
- choosing suitable lime production processes according to data from I&C devices;
- ensuring finished lime quality standards are met;
- fault prevention.
Functions of the system:
- process parameter measuring;
- monitoring of process parameter deviation;
- automatic parameter adjustment;
- automatic and manual remote control;
- parameter visualization, logging and archiving;
- self-check of automated process control system upper level equipment.
