ASC specialists together with representatives of SMNU Zvetmetnaladka JSC have completed works on the winder at “Vspomogatelny” shaft of the mine “10th Anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan” under general contractor contract with TNK Kazchrome JSC.
List of works:
- design documentation for electrical equipment including electric drive, control and safety system;
- supply of power equipment (electric motors, frequency converters, transformers) and control system equipment;
- electrical installation including disassembling of old equipment, installation of new equipment, replacement of electric drives;
- commissioning of power and control equipment;
- training course for customer’s staff concerning operating techniques, maintenance and repair.
New motors were manufactured for installation on the foundation of the replaced ones. Coupling with existing sleeves was considered.
Winder operating modes are as follows:
- lifting and descending people;
- lifting and descending cargo;
- shaft inspection;
- oversized cargo.
Control, safety, diagnostics and monitoring system of the winder provides:
- automatic control of movement with required acceleration and deceleration including automatic deceleration and acceleration at intermediate levels during transportation of people;
- accurate cage stop at required level;
- safety and diagnostic functions;
- communication with existing shaft alarm system.
Equipment disassembling and installation as well as commissioning were carried out within a short period of time that allowed for minimizing mine shaft downtime.
