Software testing with the aid of 3D model.
Overall software testing for the machines of handling area of large-diameter LSAW pipes producing shop was successfully completed based on the contract with “SMS group” company to the order of the end customer Al Gharbia (Abu-Dhabi, UAE).
All technological modes and possible pipeline routes along with machinery interlocking and various emergency situations were tested by means of 3D models of shop machinery, driven from 260 electric and hydraulic power drives. It has been proved that machine capacity meets corresponding contractual requirements.
46 operator panels were tested. Interaction with MES system was checked, too.
