Furnace plant automated control system for a limekiln department.
The package of works on detailed engineering of process control system and power equipment for three furnace plants of a limekiln department has been completed. The type of calcining plants is the following: double-shaft regenerative straight-line and counterflow furnaces (of MERTZ type) with the output of 450 tons per day.
The limekiln department is comprised by three identical production lines. Each line incorporates the following processing areas, control systems and units:
- lime feed to furnace plant unit;
- furnace plant, including air cooling system for air-gas injection lances and pendant cylinder parts, gas ramp, oil-pumping (hydraulic) station;
- processing gas-cleaning plant;
The system functionality:
- process measurements;
- process variables deviation control;
- equipment status monitoring;
- process variables automatic control;
- automatic and manual remote control;
- automatic interlocking system;
- process variables visualization, recording and archiving;
- emergency shutdown devices (furnace safety automatic equipment);
- self-diagnostics of technological facilities relating to the high level of process control system.
