Upgrading of railway station signaling and interlocking system. The specialists of CJSC «ASC» in partnership with TOO «Kazcentreelectroprovod» have finished developing documentation on rebuild of signaling and interlocking arrangement for the Central Heating and Power Plant railway station, with the use of microprocessor-based switches-and-signals interlocking system «MPC-ASC». The «MPC-ASC» system is intended for monitoring and control of signals and points, as well as other rail transport objects with the preset safe railway operation level and comes with declaration of conformity to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union TP TC 003/2011 concerning safety of railway infrastructure. The project provides for replacement of relay-type equipment with up-to-date microprocessor-based facilities. Electric interlocking system of the station includes: 7 points, 23 switch signals and 5 trainset signals, as well as signaling control system to ensure interaction with adjacent station of Kazakh Railroads, railway crossing, signal box and axle counting system «Frauscher». The operating algorithm is implemented with redundant controller «SIMATIC CPU 410-5H». The «MPC-ASC» control facilities are placed on standard multi-task boards. For power supply of «MPC-ASC» system a power supply cabinet with automatic transfer switches for standby activation and UPS is provided. The station operator uses workstations and public access screens for workflow visualization.
