Commissioning of PIMS system.
The PIMS system has been put into commercial operation in arc-furnace melting shop at Seversky tube works.
This is the first shop within the framework of a large-scale comprehensive project, under which JSC «ASC» jointly with PJSC «TMK» has commissioned the PIMS system.
The works are carried out as part of the project on «Creating the data infrastructure for industrial enterprises of the Russian division of TMK Group».
The implemented PIMS system (that is, Automated Project Information Management System) is intended for collecting, processing, storing and providing data on the state of a technological control object to functional subsystems of Manufacturing Execution System for industrial enterprises of TMK group and related automation systems.
Now the system is being implemented at five enterprises of PJSC «TMK» group and embraces 9 pilot shops.
