Excitation control system for main motor of mill 2000 roughing stand.
The JSC «ASC» specialists have completed start-up and commissioning of upgraded excitation control system for main drive motor of roughing stand of hot-rolling mill 2000 (shop No.16 of PJSC «VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation»). The contract works were performed on a turn-key basis: design, equipment supply, dismounting, mounting and start-up and adjustment works. DC converter Sinamics DCM series 6RA80В was used as basic equipment.
A distinctive feature of this project is an extensive use of component parts developed by JSC «ASC» — galvanic separation units, voltage dividers, overvoltage protection units both on the AC side and in output power circuits. Such elements as КЭАЗ, DE Kraft, Chint Automation were used as component parts.
At the request of the customer, the controller series S7-1200 by “Siemens” was integrated into main drive control system, along with the system of recording and analysis of operating conditions iBa PDA, into which all signals of operation of both armature converter and upgraded excitation control converter were entered.
