Delivery of trams «Castor» to Ekaterinburg.
Ust-Katav car-building plant has completed the on-time (as per the contract terms) delivery to Ekaterinburg of sixteen articulated fully low-floor tram cars 71-639 «Castor», containing the electrical equipment, manufactured by JSC ASC.
On the 30th of January, 2026 the two of the cars remaining were accepted and permitted to enter service.
Besides route No.18, taken by the first tram cars, «Castor» cars took the other routes as well.
