Production recording system (3D storage yard).
Commissioning of production recording system for hot-rolled coil area has been finished. The works were conducted jointly with LLC “SEVERNIE INTELLECTUALNIE RESHENIYA”.
3D storage yard system automatically registers transfer of all objects (coils) inside the area, simultaneously generating a virtual 3D storage yard map.
It is scheduled to introduce the function of planning and generating the automatic tasks for crane ravel. The system has been integrated with the existent MES of metal processing centre2 and with automatic coil number identification system.
The work performed resulted in implementation of 3D storage yard system for metal processing centre 2 of hot-rolled coil area, governing operation of 7 cranes, car, hot-rolled coil conveyor and entry areas of slitting units 1, 2, 3 and 4. The fixed weighing machine and accelerated coil cooling lines were connected to the system. Server and network infrastructure, inclusive of WiFi net, covering the whole area, was developed, too.
CJSC “ASC” acted both as performer of the work and general contractor in so far as it relates to the basic automation and infrastructure.
