Revamping of control system of slitting line No.6 in the cold-rolling shop.
In December 2019 the commissioning works on revamping of control system of slitting line No.6 executed in the framework of the like-named project, developed by CJSC «ASC», were completed.
Automation system was executed on basis of controller S7-1500 («Siemens» company) with distributed input-output stations ET200MP. SCADA WinCC-based imaging stations («thin clients») («Siemens» company) were applied too. Power electric equipment and control equipment were replaced for the following machines:
- decoiler, payoff reel (adjustable speed DC drives SINAMICS DCM on basis of the existent motor);
- circular shears, scrap baller, S-rollers, pinch rolls (adjustable speed AC drives SINAMICS G120).
The up-to-date centralized control system for the plant and electric drives of the auxiliary mechanisms was developed and implemented.
The activities conducted resulted in replacement of:
- main control console of the plant (1 pc.) and local control panels (6 pcs.);
- control system, starting and switching equipment for oil basement and hydraulic system machines;
- limit switches of the plant by proximity sensors (25 pcs.); additional sensors (2 pcs.) were installed, too.
PDA-diagnostics engineering station was installed. All cable products involved in the project were replaced as well.
