Updating of control systems for foil mill electric drives.
The specialists of CJSC «ASC» have finished works on updating of control systems for electric drives of foil rolling mill 3.1 «FATA HUNTER». Packaged converters Sinamics DCM were installed at electric drives of decoilers and winder. Central control was implemented with the use of central processor S7-416-2DP instead of existent Simatic S5. Increase in data exchange rate and readjustment of counting nodes enabled better maintaining of a steady strip tension.
