The specialists of JSC «ASC» have handed over the PIMS system for pilot operation in arc-furnace melting shop of Volzhsky tube works. This is the second shop where such system was handed over by JSC «ASC» for pilot operation. Earlier similar works were performed in arc-furnace melting shop at Seversky tube works.
01.06.2023 is the scheduled date of putting the PIMS system into pilot operation in arc-furnace melting shop of Volzhsky tube works.
The activities are carried out within the framework of the project on “Creation of data infrastructure for industrial enterprises of the Russian division of TMK group”.
The implemented PIMS system (Project Information Management System) is designed to collect, process, store and provide data on the condition of technological control object to functional subsystems of manufacturing execution systems of industrial enterprises of TMK group and to related automation systems.
Under the scope of the project the system is installed at five enterprises of PJSC «TMK» group and embraces 9 pilot shops.
