Electric traction drive for trams.
By end-year 2023 AO «ASC» has delivered 117 packages of traction electrical and electrical support equipment for trams model 71-628-01 to Ust-Katav car-building plant. The trams model 71-628-01 are the low-floor ones. Transport vehicles are equipped with intelligent system of a driver’s condition control. The cars can be operated using a multiple-unit control, while being made up of two or three pieces, interconnected and controlled via a single console.
The acceptance tests of the car have revealed the following strong points of «ASC» equipment:
- — 45 % lower weight as compared to equipment of other manufacturers;
- — traction drive operation without the use of motor speed sensors;
- — individual drive of axles;
- — absolutely no jolting and jerking during acceleration and deceleration;

— high dynamic response, exceeding the GOST 8802 requirements by 5 % — during acceleration and by 25-30 % — during deceleration.
