Automated control system for kiln plants of lime roasting area.
A set of works on detailed engineering of automated process control system and electrical power equipment for two kiln plants of lime roasting area has been completed. The roasting plants are of a double-shaft straight-line–counterflow regenerative type used for production of calcium and dolomite lime with a capacity of 380 tons per day.
The limestone roasting area consists of two identical process lines. Each line embraces the following process areas, control systems and units:
- the unit of limestone feed to a kiln plant;
- the kiln plant including an air cooling of gas-air tuyeres and suspended cylinder elements, a gas ramp, an oil-pumping station (hydraulic system);
- the gas cleaner;
The functions performed by the System:
- measurement of process parameters;
- control of deviations of process parameters;
- equipment status control;
- automatic parameter control;
- automatic and manual remote control;
- automatic blockings;
- parameter visualizing, logging and archiving;
- emergency protection (the automatic kiln safety controls);
- self-diagnostic check of hardware components of the upper level of automated process control system.
The documentation sets have been developed allowing the Customer to proceed to ordering the equipment and constructing the kilns.
