Overvoltage protection unit – BZP is intended for protection of various-application semiconductor converters and is used in ac networks of voltage up to 1000 V.
BZP unit limits the level and rate of overvoltage rise at the moment of power transformer shutoff, whereupon the mains voltage level during shutoff even in a worst-case scenario does not exceed 10 % of the rated value.
